Frontline ’44

A squad in Normandy.

A third-person shooter spun off from Platoon ’44. You are the sergeant taking a twelve-man section ashore: choose your weapon, choose your squad from men with their own names, stats and specialties, then lead them off the landing craft and up the bluff through Normandy’s biggest battles. The first mission is built: Omaha Beach, Dog Red, 6 June 1944, with the 116th Infantry. The ramp drops, the obstacles stand in the surf, the strongpoints on the bluff are still firing, and the battleship offshore is waiting for your call. Built so far: the Omaha Beach mission, the core mechanics and the graphics. An Airborne campaign is to follow.
